In May at United Way's National Staff Leaders Conference United Way of Central Iowa was one of three organizations featured as a best practice winner. United Way of America featured our work around young adult engagement by compiling a short video. The other two United Ways featured were Jacksonville, FL for their Coaching Program and Hartford, CT for their Achievers of Life program. Additionally, United Way of Central Iowa was also recognized for our work around public policy as a statewide group of United Ways of Iowa and also for our local media coverage.
